Types of crime

There are different kinds of crimes and Northumbria Police is committed to tackling and reducing them all.

You can also do a lot yourself to avoid becoming a victim of crime. Taking time to lock your bike when out and about or at home and making sure your purse or wallet is safe, are simple precautions but can make a real difference.
